During our New Year stay, we were impressed by the beautiful surroundings of this hotel. The views across the nearby park were stunning, with golden brown hues creating a picturesque setting. The hotel itself had a grand and impressive appearance, adding to the overall charm. the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Despite a car breakdown, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even served us a late dinner when everyone else was retiring for the night. The complimentary whisky was a nice touch and added to the overall positive experience.

While there were many positive aspects to our stay, there were a few areas that left something to be desired. We found the initial welcome from one staff member to be somewhat lacking.

The hotel is conveniently located near Saltaire and a short distance from restaurants and the city center. The rooms are spacious and bright, with comfortable beds and good TVs. The staff is helpful and accommodating, quickly addressing any requests. The food is enjoyable, with a tender sirloin steak and refreshing cocktails. The dining room offers a nice view of the park, where locals are seen enjoying the facilities. the hotel offers good value for money and is a pleasant place to stay.

The hotel could benefit from some improvements in decoration and maintenance.

The staff are very friendly and helpfull. The meals were really good and tasty, and very satisfying! It is within walkiing distance to town, in a quiet enviroment, and with the Lister park nearby. Very pleasant and relaxing.

I received a very friendly welcome at reception and the room and bathroom were a good size and both very clean.

I felt the room needed a picture or two. Because of the chic style of the bedroom this could be modern art.

Stayed here over Xmas and had a great time. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the Christmas decorations added a festive touch. The room was spacious and bright, with lovely views of a nearby park and comfortable beds. The breakfast was generous and tasty, with options for different preferences. The location was ideal for us, with easy access to public transportation and nearby amenities like shops and restaurants.

The bathroom was a bit outdated and could use some renovation. The water pressure in the shower was low and the temperature inconsistent.

On arrival the outside looks a little tired so I feared the worst,however my room (102) was large, tidy and nicely decorated with a large comfortable bed. All in all a nice pleasant stay at an excellent price.

one of th eplug sockets in the wall didnt work, so we pulled it out and there wasnt even any wires :S

Booked this hotel on a last-minute offer and stayed for 2 nights. Very clean, comfortable and stylish. Excellent service. There is a restaraunt on the ground floor serving decent breakfasts and a park some meters away from the hotel with the remains of the tree stump which is 330 mln years old!

The night receptionist seemed to be there by mistake: he gave the incorrect WiFi password and told us breakfast was included in the room price, although it was not.

My room was generally excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Bar facility and its comfort fine.

Outside apprearance very tatty/rough ( needs proper place for smokers - as fag ends laying around - chewing gum etc.) Bedroom windows seem in need of replacement throughout and for sound proofing for traffic noise.

We found the room spacious and warm and the staff helpful and relaxed. We were making a trip to visit family and found the location perfect for us. We loved Lister park and the wonderful gallery, Cartwright hall, which is situated within it. These assets really add to the quality of the location.

Lift not working - "Superior Room" with "Luxury Rainforest Shower" was rubbish had budget flat pack furniture a standard double bed and the shower was a simple small corner shower that it was difficult to squeeze in to. There was no heating in the shower room and it was cold.No telephone and only one set of towels and one cup and glass.
